Greetings!

My name is Jill and I am the creator behind Open Sesame Enterprises (OSE). All the items you will view on this site (with the exception of Vintage items) are produced on my boat as I liveaboard both here in the UK ((narrowboat) and in Greece (motor sailer). OSE is a gathering together of my activities, primarily in jewellery making and fictional writing, with occasional artistic projects.

I have been making handmade jewellery and selling it at local markets and craft fairs since 2015 trading under the name Hasket Fasesik. My jewellery includes necklaces, pendants, earrings and talismans made from semi -precious stones, silver and copper. All items include information on the healing properties of the stones. I also make jewellery from completely recycled materials and up-cycle beads and vintage items. More recently I have been experimenting with air dried clay designs primarily inspired by nature, and ancient Greek artifacts. My jewellery appeals to people who appreciate the uniqueness of handmade creations and prefer a personal touch that sets them apart from mass-produced items. In addition to making jewellery, I have published 7 fictional e- books under the pen name Jill Castelo. So far I have written a trilogy of 3 novellas, 'Flotsam', 'Yes! Yes! Yes!' and 'Jetsam', ( Books 1,2 & 3 of 'The Artemesis Mysteries'), 'Drifting through the Doldrums' (a novella), 'Cradling the Bones' ( Short Stories) and "Slipstream' (a poetry collection).

My aim is to connect with readers who like to explore indie fiction outside of the mainstream. I am using the section Artworks as a window to share my personal work with others rather than as a commercial venture as much of it I regard as work in progress. I originally trained in Sculpture (MA) but moved towards jewellery as it's small scale worked well on a boat. More recently I have been exploring different materials & projects in addition to this.

Finally, I have used Tarot as a tool for guidance (as opposed to fortune telling!) for many years. I am therefore offering online readings for a limited time to coincide with launching this website.
